Description

You will modernize the Windows codebase by integrating the Universal C Runtime and updating core components.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Update software components to integrate the Universal C Runtime.
• Convert components locally, conduct testing, and validate changes after runtime updates.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to established standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure correct component integration.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of expert knowledge across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• 10+ years of Windows platform experience.
• Expert proficiency in C/C++.
• Deep understanding of the Universal C Runtime and the Microsoft Ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of the Visual Studio Tool Chain.
• Experience with distributed build systems and modernizing codebases.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• 5+ years of experience working in collaborative team environments.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and implementing system changes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with multiple C Runtimes within the Microsoft Ecosystem.
