Develop and maintain voice-forward experiences for Alexa across Echo and Fire TV platforms, ensuring stability and performance of mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement tools for speech and language understanding capabilities.
• Build applications that enhance the stability and performance of Alexa customer experiences.
• Provide technical leadership and best practices guidance to development teams.
• Collaborate on the architecture of products used by millions of customers.
• Support training initiatives to ensure teams follow excellence program guidelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Experience with AWS services.
• Strong background in system design and API development.
• Knowledge of speech processing and language understanding technologies.
• Ability to build and maintain mission-critical applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the Alexa ecosystem, Echo devices, or Fire TV development.
• Familiarity with natural language processing and voice-forward interfaces.
• Experience with testing frameworks and release management.
