Description

You will own the full software development lifecycle for Amazon's global grocery business, focusing on Point of Sale and Self-Checkout systems. You will design, build, and deploy robust microservices that handle complex business logic and ensure seamless customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, documentation, testing, and operations of grocery checkout systems.
• Contribute to system architecture and design for new and existing global grocery solutions.
• Analyze complex business problems alongside technical teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop and maintain APIs and microservices with high attention to detail and quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Python.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of system design principles.
• Practical experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Proven track record in API development and testing.
