Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable, resilient services for supply chain optimization including forecasting, procurement, placement, and planning systems.
- Develop ML-integrated systems that improve over time with learned demand models, intelligent reorder logic, and placement optimization.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and participate actively in code reviews to maintain engineering standards.
- Implement operations research techniques in production including optimization solvers, simulation engines, and probabilistic demand models.
- Build data pipelines that process large-scale pharmacy supply chain signals such as prescription fills and inventory positions.
- Own systems end-to-end including design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and oncall responsibilities.
- Build robust observability with metrics, alarms, and dashboards that surface supply chain health in real time.
- Participate in oncall rotations and drive root-cause analysis for production issues to ensure system reliability.
- Partner with Applied Scientists to productionize ML models and experimentation frameworks for continuous improvement.
- Work with product managers to translate business problems into technical designs and implementation strategies.
- Collaborate across time zones with US-based teams on priorities, design reviews, and operational handoffs.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate development velocity and improve code quality in daily workflows.
- Identify opportunities for automation and ML within the supply chain domain to drive operational efficiency.
