Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable microservices for the Alexa Services platform, ensuring high availability and performance for enterprise-scale applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop flexible, widely-used services to manage trust on the Alexa platform.
• Design and implement microservices for new core software features in Alexa Smart Properties.
• Build service architectures that guarantee rock-solid availability and performance.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, data scientists, and security experts to deliver robust solutions.
• Lead technical design and implementation decisions for Alexa features.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development and engineering.
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture and service design.
• Proven ability to build scalable and high-performance systems.
• Experience with system architecture for enterprise-scale applications.
• Knowledge of security best practices in service design.
• Background in data science is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership.
• Track record of building services from the ground up.
