Description

You will own the indexing pipeline and query service for the content metadata application, optimizing ingestion and querying performance.

Responsibilities

• Optimize indexing pipelines and query services for high-throughput data ingestion.
• Design and implement backend services using Java and Kotlin.
• Model complex data structures and manage databases including DynamoDB and RDS.
• Develop and maintain APIs for content metadata applications.
• Collaborate on best practices for database technology and data modeling.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java; experience with Kotlin is required.
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, including optimizing search queries and indexing.
• Deep understanding of NoSQL databases, specifically Amazon DynamoDB.
• Proficiency with relational databases (RDS) and general data modeling.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with frontend development using React is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React development for full-stack capabilities.
• Background in optimizing complex data queries and database performance.
