Description

You will design and develop scalable back-end services and RESTful APIs for the FastSellers platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop back-end services and business logic using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and optimize Oracle database schemas, queries, and data integrity mechanisms.
• Build and document RESTful APIs, including versioning, endpoint definitions, and contract standardization.
• Integrate external systems such as payment gateways and shipping providers via RESTful interfaces.
• Monitor service performance, implement logging, and manage error handling for troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in back-end development.
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with Oracle database design and query optimization.
• Strong API design skills, including documentation with Swagger or Postman.
• Knowledge of caching technologies like Redis or Memcached.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization security measures.
• Competency in testing frameworks such as JUnit or Mockito.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools including Docker or Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with front-end developers on API definitions.
• Conducting unit, integration, and performance testing.
