Description

You will develop software for medical devices throughout the entire product development lifecycle within an agile scrum framework.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable architecture, applications, and services using the SDLDC process for medical device development.
• Execute software development in compliance with FDA 21 CFR 820.30 Design Controls, FDA Cybersecurity guidance, and IEC 62304 standards.
• Evaluate design choices, prototype new technology, and implement technical solutions while managing technical trade-offs.
• Conduct code reviews, participate in design reviews, and produce technical documentation for application design and code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into high-quality medical device software.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience covering all phases of the SDLDC.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with C and C++ in a medical device or regulated industry environment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Python frameworks.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using Linux Ubuntu and SafeRTOS in a regulated industry.
• Proficiency with GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitHub pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, data structures, and software development processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
