Description

job responsibilities include:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites using Java and/or Groovy.

Build automation solutions to validate software across UI, API, and service layers.

Identify gaps in test coverage and develop automated tests to improve overall quality assurance.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to object-oriented programming and automation best practices.

Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Perform issue triage, debugging, and root cause analysis to support quality initiatives.

Contribute to continuous improvement of testing strategies, automation frameworks, and quality processes.

Take ownership of product quality and support successful application releases.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

4+ years of hands-on experience in Java software development.

Strong expertise with JUnit and/or TestNG testing frameworks.

Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Passion for software quality, testing, and automation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Selenium WebDriver and/or Appium.

Knowledge of API testing and automation frameworks.

Familiarity with Jenkins, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience working in Linux or UNIX environments.

Background in test automation framework development and maintenance
