Description

You will build and manage data processing pipelines and software applications for genomics and lab testing assays.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis.
• Develop data processing pipelines for genomics and other lab testing assays.
• Build software applications, databases, and custom scripts.
• Maintain sample tracking logs and deliver results to customers.
• Manage data archival, storage, and computing resources.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in bioinformatics within an industrial, academic, or government laboratory.
• 2+ years of experience building and delivering NGS data analysis pipelines and software applications.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and shell scripting.
• Experience with data analysis and database management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS services including S3, EC2, Lambda, and Batch.
• Experience working in a clinical laboratory environment.
