Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product and program managers, software development engineers at all levels, and various functional teams within Amazon to untangle complex business scenarios.
• Design and execute highly scalable architectures and system components capable of handling the demands of high-volume business programs processing billions of transactions daily.
• Mentor and coach junior engineering team members within the team and across the organization to uphold engineering excellence.
• Ensure the seamless operation of the system day-to-day and contribute to reducing operational overhead for distributed systems.
• Build highly-available, scalable distributed systems that create seamless interfaces between sellers, customers, and Amazon's software platforms.
• Work on software solutions that allow sellers to expand their business internationally by increasing the selection of products available in different countries.

Experience Required: Software Development Engineer II level experience with proven track record in building scalable distributed systems and leading technical implementations
