Description

You will build and maintain backend services within a microservices architecture to improve brand-to-customer messaging.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Leverage Java to develop new features and maintain platform stability.
• Maintain services using RESTful API conventions and a microservices approach.
• Evaluate new technologies, create proof of concepts, and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations approximately every 5-6 weeks.
• Automate manual tasks and optimize data flows for scalability and stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of core Java experience using Spring Boot and/or Node.js.
• 5+ years of experience with RESTful APIs and large-scale distributed microservices architecture.
• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes, GCP, and databases.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns.
• Experience with GitLab and DevOps practices for deploying applications from Dev to Production.
• Proficiency with service monitoring tools such as Grafana and Kibana.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies like SCRUM or Kanban.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
