Description

You will act as first-level support for production software application issues regarding merchandising applications and manage the end-to-end software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, debug, and implement fixes for internally developed code.
• Develop monitoring solutions and improve systems that gather feature metrics.
• Own the full development lifecycle including design, testing, and deployment.
• Lead architecture decisions, participate in design reviews, and conduct code reviews.
• Automate support processes and document existing systems.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Proficiency in Perl, C/C++, or Java.
• Experience performing SQL queries.
• Ability to collaborate with Data Engineers and Software Development Managers on corporate and divisional projects.
• Experience managing day-to-day development activities and technical roadmaps.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of full SDLC experience including source control, build processes, and operations.
• Go programming language.
• Knowledge of container technologies.
• Experience contributing to open source projects.
