Good to Have Skills: Experience with Alexa platform, smart home technologies, cross-team project management, sprint planning, scrum methodologies, documentation authoring, and working with Principal Engineers on forward-looking architectures.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, testing and deployment of cross team projects while meeting with stakeholders and driving execution.
• Architect cloud services which streamline connectivity between Alexa-enabled devices and Alexa Cloud infrastructure.
• Develop highly scalable services to manage billions of smart devices connected to Alexa through the cloud platform.
• Work across Alexa skills, voice user interfaces, cloud services, and rapidly-growing ecosystem of IoT devices.
• Help lay the foundation to move from directed device interactions to learned behaviors spanning multiple devices throughout the home.
• Brainstorm new ideas and work on forward looking architectures and design with Principal Engineers and Senior Software Engineers.
• Participate and lead in sprint planning and daily scrum, break down technical work and identify technical blockers.
• Mentor team members and guide them to navigate complex technical problems independently.
• Partner with managers and technical leaders across the organization to achieve desired technical consensus.
• Author documentation to communicate vision, proposals and technical designs effectively.

Experience Required: Senior level experience as an independent technical leader capable of working autonomously and guiding team members through complex problems. Experience in cloud services, IoT systems, and scalable architecture development
