Description

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud services connecting Alexa-enabled devices to cloud infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build highly scalable services to manage billions of smart devices connected via the cloud platform.
• Drive cross-team project execution, stakeholder alignment, and technical consensus.
• Design forward-looking architectures for voice user interfaces and IoT ecosystems.
• Mentor team members to solve complex technical problems independently.
• Lead sprint planning, break down technical work, and identify blockers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an independent technical leader.
• Strong background in cloud services and IoT systems.
• Expertise in software architecture, system design, and scalable services.
• Experience with Voice User Interfaces or similar interactive platforms.
• Ability to work autonomously and guide teams through complex technical challenges.
• Strong documentation skills for technical designs and proposals.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the Alexa platform or smart home technologies.
• Familiarity with scrum methodologies and cross-team project management.
• Experience collaborating with Principal Engineers on architectural decisions.
