Description

Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure end-to-end quality across UI and API layers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define automation strategies and design tools for unit, functional, and performance testing.
• Build and integrate tests and infrastructure automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Own the implementation of tests for major deliverables by collaborating with multiple engineering teams.
• Propose process improvements and build automated libraries to increase team efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5 to 7 years of experience in IT with expertise in UI and API layer test automation.
• Proficiency in scripting with TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or Shell.
• Experience building automation frameworks from the ground up using modular patterns like Page Object Model (POM).
• Hands-on experience with API and Microservices testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Karate, or Cypress.
• Practical knowledge of TDD and BDD using frameworks like Cucumber or JBehave.
• Experience with SQL, Oracle, MySQL, or NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with source code management tools including GitLab, GitHub, or AWS CodeCommit.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Circle CI.
• Experience deploying applications in AWS or OpenShift (Kubernetes).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of QT and familiarity with QML.
