Description

You will own REST API automation frameworks and backend test coverage using Java and Kotlin.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain REST API automation frameworks using Java/Kotlin.
• Build automated test scripts, API test harnesses, and server-side test coverage.
• Validate third-party partner integrations and backend services.
• Perform backend troubleshooting, defect triaging, and root-cause analysis.
• Support CI/CD automation and testing activities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Java/Kotlin development.
• 5+ years of REST API Automation (REST Assured, Postman, TestNG, JUnit).
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong backend/server-side testing and debugging skills.
• OOP concepts, Git, Maven/Gradle, SQL.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum.

Preferred Skills

• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application testing.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
