You will own the automation and quality assurance for complex software systems.

Responsibilities

  • Automate testing and triaging workflows, taking full ownership of the process.
  • Own the catalogue of regression test suites for software running health algorithms.
  • Design and recommend logging telemetry to improve failure analysis and field performance metrics.
  • Drive post mortem discussions to strategically prevent recurring issues.
  • Design and develop automation frameworks promoting coding best practices.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer for software, firmware, or hardware.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, specifically Python and Shell.
  • Proven background in testing methodologies (unit, integration, performance, functional testing).
  • Experience triaging, diagnosing, and debugging complex systems involving hardware and software.
  • Experience identifying automation requirements and crafting solutions for test execution challenges.
  • Experience using telemetry to build dashboards monitoring production performance.
  • Knowledge of Macintosh systems and Mac OS or UNIX variants.
  • Familiarity with health-regulated software testing and documentation processes.
  • Experience with testing algorithms.
