You will build and maintain the automation strategy for quality assurance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Agile teams to define acceptance criteria and promote a test-first mindset.
• Build and evolve test automation frameworks using Playwright or similar tools for API and UI testing.
• Drive the transition of testing from legacy frameworks (Selenium + Java, Postman/Newman) to unified automation in CI/CD.
• Develop automated API (REST/SOAP) and end-to-end tests validating functional and non-functional requirements.
• Write and maintain SQL queries to validate data integrity and support test data strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in QA engineering or software development testing.
• Expertise in building test automation frameworks using Playwright or TypeScript.
• Experience migrating testing suites from Selenium + Java or Postman to modern frameworks.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining REST/SOAP API tests.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
• Experience with test case management tools such as qTest, QMetry, or TestRail.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation.
