Description

You will own the end-to-end test strategy and automation framework development for web, mobile, and API-based applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated test harnesses and suites for UI, API services, and databases.
• Design, execute, and maintain smoke, functional, regression, and integration test suites.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to automate acceptance criteria within Agile/Scrum workflows.
• Troubleshoot and remediate automation issues in testing and deployment environments.
• Manage final quality for production releases and support non-functional requirements like performance testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SDET or software development roles.
• 4+ years of professional experience in software test automation, including framework creation and deployment.
• 2+ years of mobile app automation experience covering Android and/or iOS.
• 2+ years of API automation testing experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Selenium scripting.
• Strong experience with SQL querying and database back-end systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins.
• Practical knowledge of JUnit, Cucumber, and TestNG.
• Experience with cloud-hosted testing platforms such as Perfecto and Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in using Jira or ServiceNow for issue tracking.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and TDD/BDD methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JMeter for performance testing.
• Experience with Appium for mobile automation.
