Description

You will own the modernization and execution of the test automation strategy.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Agile feature teams to define acceptance criteria and promote a test-first mindset.
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript for API and UI testing.
• Drive the transition from legacy frameworks (Selenium + Java, Postman) to unified automation aligned with CI/CD.
• Develop and maintain automated API tests (REST/SOAP) and end-to-end tests.
• Write and maintain SQL queries to validate data integrity and support test data creation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SDET roles.
• Expertise in Playwright, with TypeScript experience preferred.
• Experience with API and UI testing.
• Experience migrating from Selenium + Java or Postman to modern frameworks.
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining SQL queries.
• Familiarity with test case management tools such as qTest, QMetry, or TestRail.
• Experience with test reporting, dashboarding, and quality metrics in a DevOps environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in supporting manual testing efforts, including exploratory testing.
