Description

You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for validating RESTful APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test cases for RESTful APIs using Postman or Rest Assured.
• Build and manage automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Conduct manual API testing to validate complex scenarios and troubleshoot failures.
• Develop test plans to ensure comprehensive coverage and monitor defect metrics.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure service reliability and scalability.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in QA with at least 2 years focused on API testing and automation.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.
• Experience with automation frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Understanding of SDLC, software testing methodologies, and agile practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, service virtualization, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
