Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks. You own the quality gates in the DevOps ecosystem, setting up automated test runs in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. You act as the primary troubleshooter, performing root cause analysis on failures and collaborating with developers to resolve complex issues. You define test strategies for complex features, balancing the Test Pyramid. You also create and execute automated tests for Web and/or Mobile applications and mentor junior engineers on coding best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reusable test automation frameworks.
• Define test strategies balancing Unit, Integration, and E2E layers.
• Configure and manage automated test execution in CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Mentor junior SDETs on code quality and best practices.

Required Skills

• 4–7 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java with object-oriented design patterns.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript with ES6+ syntax.
• Deep expertise in Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, or Appium.
• Proven experience setting up test automation pipelines from scratch.
• Proficiency with Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Mandatory knowledge of Version Control (Git).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API Testing using RestAssured or Postman.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Performance Testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
