Description

Lead a team of engineers to solve complex problems in the Data Science domain, owning the end-to-end delivery of ML platform solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals to ensure successful project delivery.
• Design and construct machine learning models and build platform solutions to drive productivity for Data Scientists.
• Develop tools and frameworks to support the adoption of Generative AI, LLMs, and distributed training on hybrid compute.
• Build self-serve platforms for managing training, retraining, deployment, scheduling, and monitoring of ML models.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define project requirements and priorities.

Required Skills

• 8 to 10 years of experience in software engineering and technical leadership.
• Proficiency in programming with either Python or Java.
• Experience developing REST APIs and SDKs using Python or Java.
• Experience developing containerized applications using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of the Machine Learning/Deep Learning development life cycle, including EDA, model development, and training/inference pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Deep Learning tools such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
• Knowledge of data preparation, including cleaning, transformation, feature engineering, and integration.
• Familiarity with storage systems and various database systems.
• Strong grasp of SDLC practices, application development, and infrastructure management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed data processing such as MapReduce, Apache Spark, or Apache Beam.
• Exposure to CUDA programming and the usage of GPUs in the ML lifecycle.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or other public cloud providers.
