Description

You will design and implement REST APIs for mobile, web, and third-party clients, owning merchant-facing services from development through production monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement functional, maintainable, and extensible software based on product requirements.
• Partner with Infrastructure teams to design data models for large-scale, highly available services.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and a regular on-call rotation.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with QA to develop test plans and strategies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Strong coding skills in Java.
• Experience with microservices, preferably using Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and Google Pub/Sub.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, specifically MySQL.
• Experience with API design and Cloud Technologies.
• Degree in Computer Science or an Engineering field.

Preferred Skills

• Payments domain experience.
• Experience with scalability, high availability, and monitoring tools like Grafana or Datadog.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
