Description

You will design and develop software services and automation tooling to manage data center and networking infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build purpose-built software services and automation tools for infrastructure management.
• Partner with infrastructure and network engineering teams to increase utilization and efficiency.
• Monitor and operate infrastructure to reduce operating costs.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers within the team.
• Participate in all aspects of the agile software development process.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Development or DevOps experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience with JavaScript and Python.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and services.
• Experience with Configuration Management tools such as Puppet or Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Proficiency with Git source control systems.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of databases such as MySQL or Redis.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ServiceNow as a user or developer.
• Experience with public cloud computing, ELK (Kibana), or monitoring tools like Icinga.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as OpenStack KVM or VMware vSphere.
