Description

You will develop software and test frameworks to improve the speed and quality of satellite component testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop software development kits (SDKs) with standard APIs and integration points for testing in various venues.
• Optimize and automate test results analysis to identify fault trees and reduce the need for human intervention.
• Automate ticket creation for non-conformance and anomalies requiring immediate attention.
• Improve test quality by importing requirements into standard templates and tracking the definition of done for certification.
• Participate in all software development phases from requirements through implementation and test.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience, specifically with Python or C++.
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Experience with hardware integration and writing with test systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
• Ability to implement logical coding and design solutions for component and device testing.
• Experience creating test simulations and integrations with industry-standard tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Test Stand and Labview.
