Description

You own the full stack development lifecycle for scalable backend and frontend services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable backend services using Ruby on Rails.
• Develop and enhance front-end features utilizing React and TypeScript.
• Write efficient SQL queries for MySQL databases to support application needs.
• Debug, optimize, and deploy code rapidly while ensuring high quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to define technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development roles.
• 5+ years experience as a lead software developer or co-founder of a development studio/agency.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React for front-end development.
• Strong backend web development skills in Node.js, Golang, or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading technical teams or managing agency-level development projects.
