Description

You will own the test automation strategy and execution for backend and API services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust test automation frameworks using Selenium and TestNG.
• Develop and maintain API test suites using Rest Assured or Karate.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Cloudbees.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to validate database integrity and data flows.
• Collaborate with development teams in Agile environments to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software development and test automation.
• Proficiency in Java or Python for scripting and framework development.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Cloudbees.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Rest Assured or Karate.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database testing concepts.
• Familiarity with Jira for tracking and issue management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with onsite/offshore coordination models.
• Knowledge of Waterfall methodologies alongside Agile.
