Description

You will design, develop, and debug backend systems and data solutions, primarily migrating reporting tools to cloud platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Migrate on-premise reporting tools to AWS or GCP while maintaining full functionality.
• Write clean, tested, and documented code within an agile environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.
• Debug and optimize backend systems and data pipelines.
• Manage large-scale migrations to cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP cloud APIs.
• Experience with Apache Spark and distributed processing frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of Airflow, DBT, BigQuery, EMR, and BQ-ETL.
• Familiarity with Git, Unix/Linux, and CI/CD tools.
• Background in data engineering or backend development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing large-scale migrations to cloud platforms.
