Description

You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of R-based data applications and interactive reporting tools. You own the full lifecycle of statistical analysis pipelines, from data ingestion to visualization.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain R-based applications, including interactive ShinyProxy dashboards, to analyze data and generate automated reports.
• Clean, transform, and visualize complex datasets using ggplot2, dplyr, and tidyr to support stakeholder decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define statistical models, and implement machine learning solutions.
• Optimize code performance for Big Data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark) and ensure strict quality standards through version control and testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and stay current with R and ShinyProxy ecosystem updates.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of professional experience with R programming.
• Proficiency in RShiny and ShinyProxy for building interactive web applications.
• Strong command of data manipulation packages: ggplot2, dplyr, tidyr.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases for data querying and management.
• Hands-on experience with Big Data frameworks, specifically Hadoop and Spark.
• Proficiency in web development technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• BE/BTech/MTech degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
