Description

You will lead backend development, system design, and engineering best practices for distributed applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect complex backend systems, making architectural tradeoffs using synchronous and asynchronous patterns.
• Write high-quality Java code, optimize APIs, and maintain unit tests while fixing defects.
• Establish and implement best practices across the engineering team to ensure consistent agile delivery.
• Participate in continuous integration of automated builds and deployments, ensuring deliverables meet specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to solve challenging site/software development issues.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot for backend development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS, and S3.
• Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, specifically MySQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, system design concepts, and scalable architecture.
• Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code with proper unit testing.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
• 7+ years of professional experience in backend development.

Preferred Skills

• B.Tech or M.Tech (Dual) degree in engineering or related field.
