Lead a technology team to build and maintain systems serving Alexa, owning the full technical vision and delivery lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical vision for Alexa services, ensuring alignment with long-term product goals.
• Build, mentor, and manage software engineers, fostering their technical and professional growth.
• Establish consistent project management frameworks and development processes to deliver high-quality software in rapid iterations.
• Drive engineering and operational excellence across all deliverables and development workflows.
• Represent the technical organization to senior leadership and stakeholders, communicating progress and strategic direction.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development and team management.
• Proven technical leadership in system architecture and project management.
• Strong business judgment to accelerate time-to-market while maintaining quality.
• Experience with LLM/GenAI technologies and audio systems.
• Ability to mentor engineers and raise the bar on technical excellence.
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Alexa audio systems, music streaming platform integration, or voice-enabled device development.
• Background in global service deployment and working with audio content providers.
