Description

Design and develop modern data management tools to curate critical datasets, models, and processes. Drive cloud adoption for data processing and warehousing while contributing to open-source technology and the Legend language.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop tools for data curation and process automation.
• Collaborate with data consumers and producers to design appropriate data models.
• Drive the adoption of cloud technology for data processing and warehousing.
• Contribute to open-source technology and the development of the Legend language.
• Ensure data quality through traceability, security, performance latency, and correctness.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Java, AWS, and React.
• 3+ years of experience with multidimensional data, data curation, and data quality.
• 3+ years of experience in relational and columnar SQL databases and database design.
• Strong object-oriented design and programming skills in Java.
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience with distributed system design or Pure/Alloy.
• Working knowledge of AWS Lambda and Prometheus.
