Description

You will lead the design and development of reference application processor firmware and software stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop low-level firmware, including bootloaders and device drivers, across software models and development boards.
• Lead and line manage a small team of developers to implement project plans and roadmap requirements.
• Analyze industry specifications to break down tasks and provide technical direction to partners.
• Maintain and upstream code as an active member of an extended development team.
• Debug and fix complex defects in application and low-level systems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant experience in firmware development.
• Proven experience in line management.
• Expertise in C and C++.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and OS fundamentals.
• Deep understanding of bootloaders and device drivers.
• Ability to analyze industry specs and implement technical roadmaps.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with open-source project development cycles and contribution processes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software testing techniques.
• Awareness of CI and automated test systems.
