Description

You will design and develop embedded software for infrared and sensing systems, with an initial focus on unit and integration testing using the LDRA tool suite.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in C and manage multi-core, multi-threaded applications on embedded RTOS.
• Create, automate, and document unit and integration tests using the LDRA tool suite.
• Configure embedded toolchains, build environments, and debugging setups.
• Analyze hardware subsystems and common peripheral buses (I2C, SPI, USB) to ensure robust software integration.
• Utilize debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers to resolve hardware-software interface issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of embedded programming and board-level software development experience in C.
• Strong proficiency with the LDRA tool suite for test development and automation.
• Hands-on experience with embedded RTOS environments, specifically embedded Linux or RTEMS.
• Expertise in developing multi-core embedded software.
• Deep understanding of hardware subsystems and peripheral communication protocols (I2C, SPI, USB).
• Ability to set up and maintain embedded toolchains, build systems, and debugging environments.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, EE, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with infrared technologies, image acquisition, and processing.
• Familiarity with alternative test suites similar to LDRA.
