Description

You will own the validation, debugging, and bring-up of embedded software and hardware interfaces.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Debug complex applications involving multiple threads, MMUs, interrupts, and IPC mechanisms.
• Investigate and resolve issues within low-speed IO drivers including UART, GPIO, SPI, and I2C.
• Perform hardware bring-up and debugging for high-speed protocols such as 1G/10G Ethernet, PCIe, CPHY, or MPHY.
• Manage hardware configurations using device trees, U-Boot, and secure boot processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development and validation.
• Deep understanding of embedded system components, AMBA bus protocols, and boot-up sequences.
• Proficiency with JTAG-based debuggers to manage breakpoints and transaction-level debugging.
• Hands-on experience with GCC toolchains and GDB.
• Experience with device trees, U-Boot, and secure boot bring-up.
• Strong debugging skills across low-speed IO and high-speed interface drivers.
• Ability to analyze system-level interactions including memory management and inter-process communication.
