Description

You will design complex algorithms and oversee software development efforts to ensure product quality and process adherence.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex algorithms within strict timing and resource constraints.
• Oversee development teams to ensure adherence to project processes and coordinate system installations.
• Confer with system and hardware engineers to define requirements and monitor equipment specifications.
• Perform quality control on team products and implement process improvement recommendations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python for back-end services and Java for web user interfaces.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Linux/Unix command-line, and Agile development practices.
• Familiarity with JMS, ActiveMQ, REST APIs, and NoSQL databases.
• Ability to validate capabilities, write/execute test cases, and debug network-connected systems.
• Experience with data processing at scale and integration testing.
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence for task tracking and status reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with dynamic or interactive map software.
