Description

You will design and manage the Snowflake data architecture and lifecycle to meet business requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design overall data structures and blueprints for storage, processing, and access within Snowflake.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and workflows for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Implement security strategies including RBAC, encryption, data masking, and SSO/SCIM integration.
• Manage Snowflake Virtual Warehouses, including scaling, resizing, and auto-suspend configurations.
• Automate administrative tasks and monitor environment performance, query execution, and data pipeline failures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with data modeling, integration, warehousing, governance, and security.
• 8+ years of proficiency in Snowflake architecture, including Databases, Procedures, Tasks, and Streams.
• 8+ years of experience with Snowflake cloning, RBAC, and identity management (SSO/SCIM).
• 8+ years of experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL in HA deployments.
• 8+ years of experience with data integration tools such as Informatica 10.5 and ADF.
• 8+ years of experience using Python or Shell scripting for automation.
• 8+ years of experience with technical writing and diagramming tools like Visio or Erwin.
• 8+ years of experience working in Agile sprint teams using Jira.
• Proven ability to integrate Snowflake with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with bulk loading via COPY INTO, Snowpipe, and External tables.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
