Description

You develop, maintain, and enhance web-based J2EE/Portal applications for state portal, workflow management, and social services systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side and web services within an SOA platform using Agile methodologies.
• Participate in requirements analysis, high-level and detailed design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and problem resolution for Java applications.
• Analyze software for configuration, performance tuning, and defect resolution.
• Create technical and design documentation as required.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in server-side/web services development for enterprise-class applications on the J2EE platform.
• 8+ years of experience participating in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong programming experience using Java, J2EE, REST/SOAP, HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, and Angular.
• Experience implementing applications using a J2EE Application Server, Authentication/Authorization, and Caching strategies.
• Strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts including data structures, algorithms, performance, caching, and scalability in Web UI applications.
• Experience with JSON, XML, JWT, NPM, Maven, OpenAPI v3, OAuth, Postman, ReadyAPI, and Mulesoft.

Preferred Skills

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, or management information systems.
