Description

You will own full-stack development and support tasks within a six-person team, focusing on Java-based applications and system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and execute requirements within Jira stories, including requirement gathering and enhancement.
• Support UAT and production implementations while managing long-running tickets across multiple sprint cycles.
• Build integrations for external systems to deliver new online functionality.
• Consult on complex engineering initiatives and contribute to large-scale planning and architecture.
• Maintain system compliance and ensure all technology remains up to date.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 4+ years of Java development.
• 4+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience, including writing relational queries, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• 4+ years of experience working in Agile development environments.
• 4+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools.
• Proficiency with Jira for task and requirement management.
• Experience in application support roles.
• Strong understanding of technical architecture and system integration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ETL processes, SSIS, or UDeploy.
• Scripting experience in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Shell, VBScript, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Autosys or general scheduling tools.
