Description

You will own data pipeline development, platform hardening, and programmatic innovation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines using Python and AWS components to apply transformation rules and deliver datasets.
• Resolve complex technical problems and respond to off-shift or weekend support calls.
• Mentor software engineers by providing technical direction and assistance.
• Establish software quality standards and good development practices within the team.
• Perform integrated testing and customer acceptance testing to ensure software integrity.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience, or 5+ years with a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing software applications in Python.
• 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS components including Lambda, Glue, and RDS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Ability to work independently on complex systems and infrastructure components.

Preferred Skills

• Experience deploying software using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
