Good to Have Skills: Expert knowledge of computer science with strong competencies in data structures and algorithms. Experience with object-oriented design, coding, testing patterns, and programming languages. Proven coding skills in high level languages with interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed. Experience building web applications and services with IDEs and general development practices. Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous design patterns for scaling distributed applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Scale distributed applications and make architectural trade-offs applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns while writing code and delivering with speediness and quality.
• Develop multi-tier scalable, high-volume performing, and reliable user-centric applications that operate 24x7 for maximum uptime and performance.
• Produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Identify, leverage, and successfully evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity across the development team and organization.

Experience Required: 2+ years of programming experience in Java and/or C++. Preferred 3+ years of relevant work experience.

Education: BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related practical experience
