Responsibilities

• Design and manage data models, analytics, and associated technologies.
• Develop software using Python, Scala, TypeScript, or Java.
• Manage data streaming and processing within Hadoop and Mongo environments.
• Write technical documentation for system architectures and processes.
• Navigate complex cross-border matrix organizations to deliver retail data solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, TypeScript, and Java.
• Experience with Hadoop and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of relational databases and Azure environments.
• Experience with data streaming using Confluent.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Datadog.
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project management.
• Expertise in retail data technologies and processes.
• STEM graduate degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within cross-border matrix organizations.
