Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and platform engineering solutions using Golang (Go).
• Build and enhance command-line interface (CLI) tools to automate developer workflows.
• Develop GraphQL backend APIs using Golang, including schemas, queries, mutations, and integrations.
• Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs), custom controllers, and operators.
• Build and improve internal developer platforms, automation tools, and engineering infrastructure.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build systems, release automation, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
• Troubleshoot application, deployment, and infrastructure issues across distributed systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve scalability, reliability, performance, and observability.
• Participate in technical design discussions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Golang (Go) development experience.
• Experience building CLI tools using Golang.
• Experience developing GraphQL backend APIs using Golang, including queries, mutations, and schema management.
• Hands-on experience developing Kubernetes CRDs, custom controllers, or operators.
• Experience with internal developer platforms, platform engineering, or developer productivity tools.
• Experience developing software in Linux or macOS environments.
• Strong understanding of backend engineering, data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with GitHub, GitLab, or similar version control tools.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and release automation.
• Infrastructure-as-code and cloud automation experience.
• Experience with Bazel or other large-scale build systems.
• Strong troubleshooting experience across cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Open-source contributions.
• Exposure to AI/LLM development, agentic workflows, or AI-powered developer tools.
