Description

You will design and manage data structures and pipelines within the Snowflake platform to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design overall data structures and blueprints for how data is stored, processed, and accessed in Snowflake.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and workflows for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Implement security strategies including encryption, role-based access control (RBAC), data masking, and SSO/SCIM integration.
• Manage Snowflake Virtual Warehouses, including scaling, resizing, and auto-suspend/resume settings.
• Automate administrative tasks using SQL and scripting, and manage data loading via COPY INTO, Snowpipe, and External tables.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with AWS and Azure.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake features, including data sharing, scalability, and cloning.
• Ability to integrate Snowflake with third-party tools and on-premises systems.
• Experience with Java.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
