Description

You will develop and maintain enterprise-class server-side applications and web services, owning the entire services stack from implementation to deployment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement REST and SOAP web services with robust authentication and authorization strategies.
• Build self-contained, reusable, and testable application modules and components.
• Ensure service security using JWT and OAuth standards.
• Participate in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Deploy containerized applications to cloud platforms using CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in server-side/web services development on J2EE.
• 8+ years of programming experience with Java and J2EE.
• Strong proficiency in implementing applications using REST/SOAP, HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, TypeScript, Spring, JSON, XML, NPM, Maven, OpenAPI v3, and JWT.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Agile Development Methodologies (Scrum).
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD methodologies and containerized deployments.
• 3+ years developing web applications for cloud platforms.
• 3+ years of experience in test-driven development using frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, or Selenium.
• 3+ years of experience with JBoss or IBM WebSphere Application Server 8 or later.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale enterprise system architecture.
• Contributions to open-source J2EE or Java libraries.
