Description

Deliver Linux support for a new PXI instrument through research, design, development, documentation, and release cycles.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop Linux support for PXI instruments.
• Collaborate with team members on design discussions and code architecture.
• Troubleshoot product defects and resolve technical issues.
• Develop tests to ensure high code quality and prevent regressions.
• Participate in standups, backlog reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 1+ years of professional experience in Linux driver development.
• Proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming.
• Strong understanding of software design and computer architecture.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, kernel, or low-level hardware/software integration.
• Experience with data structures and testing frameworks.
• Proven ability to diagnose and solve technical problems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PXI or similar instrumentation hardware.
• Background in scientific or industrial software development.
