Description

You will develop custom test systems, instrument drivers, and applications using LabVIEW and TestStand for major aerospace and defense customers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test software, instrument drivers, and test sequences for PXI-based systems.
• Interface with Systems Architects and Electrical Engineering teams to guide design implementation and testability.
• Define and execute system test plans, manage milestones, and verify requirements coverage.
• Provide direct technical support and documentation handoff to customer engineering teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, partners, and contract manufacturers, to sustain custom solutions.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing test software using LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Experience with PXI chassis and interfacing with analog/digital I/O, DMMs, oscilloscopes, RF analyzers, and signal routing systems.
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages: LabVIEW, C/C++, C#, or Python.
• Knowledge of hardware interfaces including GPIB, USB, Ethernet, and serial communication protocols.
• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• US Citizen status with ability to qualify for DoD clearances and work on ITAR projects.

Preferred Skills

• National Instruments Certification in LabVIEW.
• Experience with cross-platform development (Windows/Linux).
• Understanding of electrical schematics and computer architectures.
