Description

You will develop custom test systems and instrument drivers for prime aerospace and defense customers using LabVIEW and TestStand.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop instrument drivers, test sequences, and applications using LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Define system test plans, manage milestones, and hold reviews to ensure deployment readiness.
• Verify developed tests to ensure compliance with and coverage of requirements.
• Interface with Systems Architects and Electrical Engineering teams to guide strategic design implementation.
• Provide handoff and direct support of software test applications to customer engineering teams, including documentation.

Required Skills

• B. S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing test software using LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Experience with PXI chassis and interfacing with analog/digital I/O, DMMs, oscilloscopes, and RF analyzers.
• Knowledge of hardware interfaces including GPIB, USB, Ethernet, and serial communication protocols.
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages: LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++, C#, or Python.
• US Citizen with ability to qualify for DoD Clearances for ITAR projects.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of electrical engineering, electronics, and computer architectures.
• Experience with system electrical schematics and cross-platform development (Windows/Linux).
• National Instruments Certification in LabVIEW.
